     Augusta Isabella FitzHerbert was born on 3 September 1828.2 She was the daughter of Sir Henry FitzHerbert, 3rd Bt. and Agnes Beresford.1 She married Sir John Gay Newton Alleyne, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Reynold Abel Alleyne, 2nd Bt. and Rebecca Olton, on 11 March 1851 at Tissington, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 9 September 1910 at age 82.3
     From 11 March 1851, her married name became Alleyne.1

     Sir Joseph Alston, 1st Bt. was born circa 1609 at Edwardstone, Suffolk, EnglandG.1,2 He was the son of Edward Alston and Margaret Penning.1 He married, firstly, Mary Crookenberg circa 1640, with her bringing a fortune of about £12,000.1 He married, secondly, Anne Pheasant after 1671.1 He died circa May 1688.1 He was buried on 31 May 1688 at Chelsea, London, EnglandG.3
     In 1660 he purchased the estate of Bradwell Abbey, Buckinghamshire.1 He succeeded as the 1st Baronet Alston, of Chelsea, co. Middlesex and of Bradwell Abbey, Bucks. [England] on 20 January 1681/82.1

     Anne Pheasant married, secondly, Sir Joseph Alston, 1st Bt., son of Edward Alston and Margaret Penning, after 1671.1 She died between April 1694 and July 1696.1 Her will (dated 19 April 1694) was proven (by probate) on 29 July 1696.1
     Her married name became Stratton.1 From after 1671, her married name became Alston.1

     Sir Joseph Alston, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1640.1 He was the son of Sir Joseph Alston, 1st Bt. and Mary Crookenberg.1 He married Elizabeth Thompson, daughter of Maurice Thompson and Dorothy Vaux, on 30 September 1662 at Lee, Kent, EnglandG.1 He died on 14 March 1688/89.1 He was buried on 21 March 1688/89 at Bradwell Abbey, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1
     He held the office of Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1670.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Alston, of Chelsea, co. Middlesex and of Bradwell Abbey, Bucks. [E., 1682] circa May 1688.1

     Elizabeth Thompson was the daughter of Maurice Thompson and Dorothy Vaux.1 She married Sir Joseph Alston, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Joseph Alston, 1st Bt. and Mary Crookenberg, on 30 September 1662 at Lee, Kent, EnglandG.1 She died before December 1709.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in December 1709.1
     From 30 September 1662, her married name became Alston.1

     Sir Joseph Alston, 3d Bt. was born circa 1665.1 He was the son of Sir Joseph Alston, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Thompson.1 He married, firstly, Penelope Evelyn, daughter of Sir Edward Evelyn, 1st and last Bt. and Mary Balam, on 23 June 1690 at Long Ditton, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Charlotte Mordaunt, daughter of John Mordaunt, 1st Viscount Mordaunt of Avalon and Elizabeth Carey, after 1714.1 He died circa January 1715/16 at Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He was buried on 29 January 1715/16 at Long Ditton, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 6 June 1716.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Alston, of Chelsea, co. Middlesex and of Bradwell Abbey, Bucks. [E., 1682] on 14 March 1688/89.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Buckinghamshire from 1702 to 1703.1 At Fleet Street Prison, London, EnglandG, He was a prisoner for debt.1 He had seventeen children by his first wife!1
