     Sir William Agnew, 1st Bt. was born on 20 October 1825.1 He was the son of Thomas Agnew and Jane Garnet Lockett.1 He married Mary Kenworthy, daughter of George Pixton Kenworthy, on 25 March 1851.1 He died on 31 October 1910 at age 85.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for South East Lancashire between 1880 and 1885.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Stretford between 1885 and 1886.1 He was created 1st Baronet Agnew, of Great Stanhope Street, London [U.K.] on 2 September 1895.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Manchester.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Salford.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2

     Mary Kenworthy was the daughter of George Pixton Kenworthy.1 She married Sir William Agnew, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Agnew and Jane Garnet Lockett, on 25 March 1851.1 She died on 2 September 1892.1
     From 25 March 1851, her married name became Agnew.1

     Sir George William Agnew, 2nd Bt. was born on 19 January 1852 at Salford, Lancashire, EnglandG.2,3 He was the son of Sir William Agnew, 1st Bt. and Mary Kenworthy.1 He married Fanny Bolton, daughter of John Stuart Bolton, on 2 October 1878.2 He died on 19 December 1941 at age 89.2
     He graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West Salford between 1906 and 1918.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Agnew, of Great Stanhope Street, London [U.K., 1895] on 31 October 1910.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Battalion, Suffolk Volunteer Regiment.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1922.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for West Suffolk.2

     Charles Morland Agnew was born on 14 December 1855.1 He was the son of Sir William Agnew, 1st Bt. and Mary Kenworthy.1 He married Evelyn Mary Naylor, daughter of William Naylor, on 22 September 1881.1 He died on 23 May 1931 at age 75.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1930.1
