     Lord John Philip Sackville was born on 22 June 1713.¹ He was the son of Lionel Cranfield Sackville, 1st Duke of Dorset and Elizabeth Colyear.¹ He married Lady Frances Leveson-Gower, daughter of John Leveson-Gower, 1st Earl Gower and Lady Evelyn Pierrepont, in 1744.¹ He died in 1765.¹

     Lady Evelyn Leveson-Gower was born on 26 January 1724/25.² She was the daughter of John Leveson-Gower, 1st Earl Gower and Lady Evelyn Pierrepont.^1,2 She married, firstly, John FitzPatrick, 1st Earl of Upper Ossory, son of Richard Fitz-Patrick, 1st Baron Gowran and Anne Robinson, on 29 June 1744.² She married, secondly, Richard Vernon, son of Henry Vernon and Penelope Phillips, on 6 February 1759.² She died on 14 April 1763 at age 38.
     From 29 June 1744, her married name became FitzPatrick. After her marriage, Lady Evelyn Leveson-Gower was styled as Dowager Countess of Upper Ossory.¹ From 6 February 1759, her married name became Vernon.

     Colette Louise Gamester was born on 17 June 1967.¹ She is the daughter of Vernon Hugh Gamester and Lady Jane Margaret Annesley.¹

     Anthony Grey, 3rd Baron Lucas of Crudwell was born on 21 February 1695/96.² He was the son of Henry Grey, 1st and last Duke of Kent and Hon. Jemima Crew.^1,2 He married Lady Mary Tufton, daughter of Thomas Tufton, 6th Earl of Thanet and Lady Catherine Cavendish, on 17 February 1718.¹ He died on 21 July 1723 at age 27, without issue, choking on an ear of barley.^2,3
     He was styled as Earl of Harold before 1718.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Lucas of Crudwell, co. Wilts [E., 1663] on 8 November 1718, in his father's lifetime.²

     Thomas Tufton, 6th Earl of Thanet was born on 30 August 1644.¹ He was the son of John Tufton, 2nd Earl of Thanet and Lady Margaret Sackville.¹ He married Lady Catherine Cavendish, daughter of Henry Cavendish, 2nd Duke of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Frances Pierrepont, on 14 August 1684.² He died on 30 July 1729 at age 84, without male issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Troop of Horse.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Appleby between 1668 and 1679.² He succeeded as the 6th Earl of the Isle of Thanet, co. Kent [E., 1628] on 27 April 1680.³ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1685 in the Regiment of Horse (5th Horse.)² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Westmorland between 1685 and 1687.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cumberland between 1685 and 1687.² He succeeded as the 18th Lord Clifford [E., 1299] on 12 December 1691, resolved by the House of Lords.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) from 1702/3 to 1707.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) between 1711 and 1714.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cumberland between 1712 and 1714.²
     On his death, the barony of Clifford again fell into abeyance until 1734.¹

     Frances Boscawen was born in 1746.² She was the daughter of Admiral Rt. Hon. Edward Boscawen and Frances Glanville.¹ She married Admiral Hon. John Leveson-Gower, son of John Leveson-Gower, 1st Earl Gower and Lady Mary Tufton, on 5 July 1773.¹ She died on 14 July 1813.³
     Her married name became Leveson-Gower.

     Henry Somerset, 5th Duke of Beaufort was born on 16 October 1744 at Brook Street, St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Charles Noel Somerset, 4th Duke of Beaufort and Elizabeth Berkeley.¹ He married Elizabeth Boscawen, daughter of Admiral Rt. Hon. Edward Boscawen and Frances Glanville, on 2 January 1766 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ He died on 11 October 1803 at age 58, from gout in the stomach.¹ He was buried on 20 October 1803 at Badminton, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 2 December 1803.³
     He succeeded as the 13th Baron Herbert [E., 1461] on 28 October 1756.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Worcester [E., 1514] on 28 October 1756.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Duke of Beaufort [E., 1682] on 28 October 1756.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Marquess of Worcester [E., 1643] on 28 October 1756.¹ He matriculated at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 18 October 1760.¹ He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 7 July 1763 with a Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.)¹ He held the office of Grand Master of the Freemasons between 1767 and 1772.¹ He held the office of Master of the Horse between 1768 and 1770, to the Queen Consort.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Monmouthshire between 1771 and 1803.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) on 2 June 1786.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire between 1787 and 1799.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Brecknockshire between 1787 and 1803.¹ His last will was dated from 21 June 1789 to 11 September 1800. He succeeded as the 5th Lord Botetourt [E., 1305] on 4 June 1803.¹

     Lady Harriett Isabella Somerset was born on 9 July 1775 at Caldicot Castle, Caldicot, Monmouthshire, Wales^G.² She was the daughter of Henry Somerset, 5th Duke of Beaufort and Elizabeth Boscawen.³ She married Colonel Hugh Henry Mitchell, son of Hugh Henry Mitchell and Margaret Gordon, on 3 July 1804 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.^1,2 She died on 1 June 1855 at age 79 at Bill Hill, St. Nicholas, Hurst, Berkshire, England^G.²
     From 3 July 1804, her married name became Mitchell.¹

     Colonel Hugh Henry Mitchell was born on 9 June 1770.¹ He was the son of Hugh Henry Mitchell and Margaret Gordon.² He married Lady Harriett Isabella Somerset, daughter of Henry Somerset, 5th Duke of Beaufort and Elizabeth Boscawen, on 3 July 1804 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.^3,2 He died on 20 April 1817 at age 46 at 25 Queen Anne Street, London, England^G.¹
     He was commissioned in January 1782 with the rank of Ensign, in the service of the 101st Regiment.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in June 1783.¹ He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1801.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in December 1805 in the 26th Regiment.¹ He was Colonel of the 51st Light Infantry between 1811 and 1814.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in June 1813.¹ He fought in the Peninsular Wars in 1814.¹ He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 4 June 1815.⁴

     Charlotte Gertrude Elizabeth Mitchell was born on 6 December 1807.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Hugh Henry Mitchell and Lady Harriett Isabella Somerset. She married John Leveson-Gower, son of General John Leveson-Gower and Isabella Mary Broke, on 18 April 1825.² She died on 4 August 1876 at age 68.²
     Her married name became Leveson-Gower.
