     Brig.-Gen. George Herbert Sanders was born on 14 September 1868.¹ He was the son of Arthur Sanders and Isabella Synge.¹ He married Vivien Charlotte Lifford Plunket, daughter of Hon. Arthur Cecil Crampton Plunket and Louisa Frances Hewitt, on 9 September 1897.¹ He died on 23 October 1935 at age 67.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1917.¹ He gained the rank of honorary Brigadier-General in 1919.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1919.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Field Artillery.¹

     Vivien Charlotte Lifford Plunket was born on 11 January 1873 at Ireland^G.² She was the daughter of Hon. Arthur Cecil Crampton Plunket and Louisa Frances Hewitt.^1,2 She married Brig.-Gen. George Herbert Sanders, son of Arthur Sanders and Isabella Synge, on 9 September 1897.¹ She died in July 1944 at age 71.²
     From 9 September 1897, her married name became Sanders.¹

     Hon. Arthur Cecil Crampton Plunket was born on 11 May 1845 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.² He was the son of John Span Plunket, 3rd Baron Plunket of Newton and Charlotte Bushe.³ He married Louisa Frances Hewitt, daughter of James Hewitt and Frances Dorothy Hutchinson Synge, on 10 September 1870 at Palermo, Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.³ He died on 21 October 1884 at age 39 at Government House, Londonderry, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.²
     He was general agent for Ireland Honourable The Irish Society.³

     Captain Alfred Harry Sanders was born on 4 June 1871.¹ He was the son of Arthur Sanders and Isabella Synge.¹ He died on 9 May 1903 at age 31.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Fusiliers.¹

     Elizabeth Katherine Sanders was born on 7 May 1873.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Sanders and Isabella Synge.¹ She died on 27 May 1930 at age 57.¹

     Hon. Vera Elizabeth Sanders was born on 18 December 1902.¹ She is the daughter of Robert Arthur Sanders, 1st and last Baron Bayford and Lucy Sophia Halliday.¹ She married Colonel Hon. Theodore Patrick Probyn Butler, son of Robert St. John FitzWalter Butler, 16th/26th Baron Dunboyne and Caroline Maude Blanche Probyn, on 6 December 1933.¹
     From 6 December 1933, her married name became Butler.¹ She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1955.²

     Colonel Hon. Theodore Patrick Probyn Butler was born on 3 July 1884.² He was the son of Robert St. John FitzWalter Butler, 16th/26th Baron Dunboyne and Caroline Maude Blanche Probyn.² He married Hon. Vera Elizabeth Sanders, daughter of Robert Arthur Sanders, 1st and last Baron Bayford and Lucy Sophia Halliday, on 6 December 1933.¹ He died on 18 October 1970 at age 86, without issue.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.² He fought in the First World War, in France, Palestine and Sudan, and was mentioned in despatches twice.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.² He was Officer Commanding of the 1st Regiment Royal Horse Artillery.² He gained the rank of Colonel in 1935 in the Royal Artillery.² He gained the rank of Honorary Major-General.² He gained the rank of Commandant between 1937 and 1939 in the Royal Artillery Depot and Woolwich Garrison.² He was commander of the Bombay District between 1940 and 1941.²

     Hon. Dorothy Sanders was born on 27 August 1907.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Arthur Sanders, 1st and last Baron Bayford and Lucy Sophia Halliday.¹ She married H. F. L. Hartman on 20 April 1932.¹ She died in 1969, leaving issue.¹
     From 20 April 1932, her married name became Hartman.¹

     H. F. L. Hartman married Hon. Dorothy Sanders, daughter of Robert Arthur Sanders, 1st and last Baron Bayford and Lucy Sophia Halliday, on 20 April 1932.¹
