     George Thomas Broadbridge, 1st Baron Broadbridge was born on 13 February 1869.1 He was the son of Henry Broadbridge.2 He married, firstly, Fanny Kathleen Brigden, daughter of Richard Brigden, in December 1894.1 He married, secondly, Clara Maud Swansbourne, daughter of John Swansbourne, in 1929.1 He died on 17 April 1952 at age 83.1
     He was educated at Brighton, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Knight in 1929.2 He was appointed Fellow, Chartered Institute of Secretaries (F.C.I.S.)2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)2 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)2 He held the office of Alderman of London, Candlewick Ward.2 He held the office of Lieutenant of the City of London.2 He held the office of Sheriff of London between 1933 and 1934.2 He became a Master in 1934, Gardeners' Company.2 He held the office of Lord Mayor of London in 1936.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1937.2 He held the office of President of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries in 1937.2 He was created 1st Baronet Broadbridge, of Brighton, co. Sussex [U.K.] on 22 November 1937.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the City of London between 1938 and 1945.2 He was created 1st Baron Broadbridge, of Brighton, co. Sussex [U.K.] on 14 September 1945.1 He was deputy chairman of the Nigerian Chamber of Mines.2

     Valentine Visconti was born in 1366.1 She was the daughter of Giovanni Galeazzo Visconti, Duca di Milano and Isabel de Valois.1 She married Louis de Valois, Duc d'Orléans, son of Charles V, Roi de France and Jeanne de Bourbon, on 17 August 1389. She died on 4 December 1408 at Chateau de BloisG. She was buried at Paris, FranceG.

     He gained the title of Duc de Berry.1
