Wilhelm Ludwig Graf von Nassau-Saarbrücken was born on 18 December 1590 at Ottweiler, Germany.2 He was the son of Ludwig II von Nassau and Anna Maria Landgräfin von Hessen-Kassel.3,4 He married Anne Amelia von Baden-Durlach, daughter of Georg Friedrich Markgraf von Baden-Durlach, on 25 November 1615.4 He died on 22 August 1640 at age 49 at Metz, France.3,2
