Thomas Boyd, 6th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock1

     Thomas Boyd, 6th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock was born circa 1547.2 He was the son of Robert Boyd, 5th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock and Margaret Colquhoun.3 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Wallace.4 He married, secondly, Jane Stockdale, daughter of William Stockdale.5 He married, firstly, Marion Campbell, daughter of Sir Matthew Campbell of Loudoun and Isabel Drummond, before 1568.2 He died in June 1611.6
     He fought in the Battle of Langside on 13 May 1568.3 He succeeded as the 6th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock [S., c. 1454] on 3 January 1589/90.3 On 12 January 1591/92 he resigned his lands to the King, and obtained a new charter.4

     Marion Campbell is the daughter of Sir Matthew Campbell of Loudoun and Isabel Drummond.2,3 She married Thomas Boyd, 6th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock, son of Robert Boyd, 5th Lord Boyd of Kilmarnock and Margaret Colquhoun, before 1568.4
     She was also known as Margaret Campbell.2 From before 1568, her married name became Boyd.4

     Francis George Bowles, Baron Bowles was born on 2 May 1902.2 He was the son of Horace Edgar Bowles and Louisa Vance.1 He married Kathleen Amy Musgrove, daughter of Edward Hugh Musgrove, on 25 May 1950.2 He died on 29 December 1970 at age 68.2
     He was educated at Highgate School, Highgate, London, EnglandG.2 He graduated from University College London, London, EnglandG, in 1923 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)2 He was admitted to a solicitor in 1925.2 He was a solicitor with Pearl Assurance Company between 1925 and 1947.2 He graduated from London School of Economics, London, EnglandG, in 1926 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Nuneaton between 1942 and 1964.2 He was created Baron Bowles, of Nuneaton in the County of Warwick [U.K. Life Peer] on 12 December 1964.1

     James Hamilton, 2nd Earl of Abercorn was born circa 1604.1 He was the son of James Hamilton, 1st Earl of Abercorn and Marion Boyd.1 He married Katherine Clifton, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold), daughter of Sir Gervase Clifton, 1st Lord Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold) and Catherine Darcy, circa 1632.1 He died circa 1670.1
     He was created 1st Lord Hamilton, Baron of Strabane, co. Tyrone [Ireland] on 8 May 1617.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Abercorn, co. Linlithgow [S., 1603] on 23 March 1618. He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Abercorn [S., 1606] on 23 March 1618.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Paisley, Hamilton, Mountcashell and Kirkpatrick [S., 1606] on 23 March 1618.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Paisley, co. Renfrew [S., 1587] in 1621.1 He abdicated as Baron of Strabane and Lord Hamilton on 11 November 1633.1 In 1649 , as a Roman Catholic, he was excommunicated by the assembly of the Church of Scotland, and ordered out of Scotland.1

     Claud Hamilton, 2nd Lord Hamilton, Baron of Strabane was born circa 1606.2 He was the son of James Hamilton, 1st Earl of Abercorn and Marion Boyd.1 He married Lady Jean Gordon, daughter of George Gordon, 1st Marquess of Huntly and Lady Henrietta Stuart, on 28 November 1632 at Kirk of Bellie, Elginshire, ScotlandG.3 He died on 14 June 1638.3 He was buried at Leckpatrick, County Tyrone, IrelandG.3
     He was styled as Master of Abercorn between 1618 and 1633.2 He matriculated at University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG, in 1621.2 Between 5 June 1628 and 17 June 1628 he was imprisoned in Edinburgh Castle for abetting his servant, a Papist, in an assault on the kirk officer of Paisley.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Hamilton, Baron of Strabane, co. Tyrone [I., 1617] on 14 August 1634.2

John Browne1

     John Browne was born before 1664.2 He was the son of George Browne and Alicia Bingham.1 He married, secondly, Juliana Bellew, daughter of Sir Patrick Bellew, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Barnewall, after 1680.1 He married, firstly, Hon. Anne Hamilton, daughter of George Hamilton, 4th Lord Hamilton, Baron of Strabane and Elizabeth Fagan, circa 27 May 1680.2 He died on 11 April 1711.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 21 November 1712.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Irish Army, of King James II.1 He fought in the Siege of Derry on 6 May 1689, where he was taken prisoner.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Browne, of the Neale, near Ballinrobe, co. Mayo [N.S., 1636] in May 1698, although he did not assume the title.1 His last will was dated 11 September 1700.

Sir Gervase Clifton, 1st Lord Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold)1

     Sir Gervase Clifton, 1st Lord Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold) was born circa 1569.2 He was the son of Sir John Clifton and Anne Stanley.2 He married Catherine Darcy, daughter of Sir Henry Darcy and Katherine Fermor, circa 25 June 1591.3 He died on 14 October 1618 at Tower of London, The City, London, EnglandG, commiting suicide by stabbing himself while a prisoner, without surviving male issue.3
     He matriculated at St. Alban's Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 18 March 1585.2 He was appointed Knight before 1597.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Huntingdonshire from 1597 to 1598.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Huntingdonshire in 1601.2 He was created 1st Lord Clifton, of Leighton Bromswold [England by writ] on 9 July 1608.2 He lived at Leighton Bromswold, Huntingdonshire, EnglandG.2
