She graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 From 24 January 1948, her married name became Young.4 She wrote the book Time is as Time Does, published 1958.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Ann Adams was styled as Baroness Kennet on 11 July 1960. She wrote the book Quiet Enjoyment: Arms Control and Police Forces for the Ocean, published 1971, editor.6 She wrote the book A Farewell to Arms Control, published 1972.1

Helen Sinclair was born circa 1490.2 She was the daughter of Henry Sinclair, 3rd Lord Sinclair and Margaret Hepburn.1 She married James Ogilvy, 4th Lord Ogilvy of Airlie, son of James Ogilvy, 3rd Lord Ogilvy of Airlie and Margaret Lindsay.1 She died between 1552 and 1562.3
She was also known as Elinor.4 Her married name became Ogilvy. After her marriage, Helen Sinclair was styled as Baroness Ogilvy of Airlie.

Henry Sinclair, 3rd Lord Sinclair was the son of William Sinclair, 2nd Lord Sinclair and Christina Leslie.2 He married Margaret Hepburn, daughter of Adam Hepburn, Master of Hailes and Helen Home, before 4 December 1488.3 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.4
He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Sinclair [S., 1449] in 1487.1 In 1489 granted by charter a 13 year lease (renewed for 19 years in 1501) of Orkney and Shetland, the Justiciarship thereof and Kirkwall Castle.4 On 26 January 1488/89 he was decreed by Scots Parliament to be the heir of his father and grandfather and ‘Cheiff of that blude’.4 He held the office of Master of Artillery in March 1510/11.4 He gained the rank of Captain in 1512 in the ship Great Michael.4 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.4

Lady Janet Erskine was the daughter of Sir Robert Erskine of that Ilk, 1st Lord Erskine and Lady Elizabeth Lindsay.2 She married Walter Stewart, Master of Fife, son of Murdoch Stewart, 2nd Duke of Albany and Isabel of Lennox, Countess of Lennox, on 24 April 1421, by Papal dispensation, although it is doubtful that this marriage was ever consummated.1

Sir Hugh Paterson, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Hugh Paterson, 2nd Bt. He married Lady Jean Erskine, daughter of Charles Erskine, 22nd/5th Earl of Mar and Lady Mary Maule, on 21 February 1712.2 He died on 23 March 1777.2
