Matilda de Lacy was born on 25 January 1223.2 She was the daughter of John de Lacy, 1st Earl of Lincoln and Margaret de Quincey.1 She married Richard de Clare, 5th Earl of Gloucester and Hertford, son of Gilbert de Clare, 4th Earl of Gloucester and Hertford and Lady Isabella Marshal, before 25 January 1237/38. She died on 10 March 1289 at age 66.1,2
