     He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Lucinda Frame-Thomson is the daughter of Thomas Frame-Thomson.² She married Major Richard George Laurence Tryon, son of Richard Tryon and Edith Campbell Watson, on 30 July 1929.¹ She and Major Richard George Laurence Tryon were divorced in 1962.¹

     Richard Thomas Tryon was born on 16 February 1940.¹ He was the son of Major Richard George Laurence Tryon and Lucinda Frame-Thomson.² He married Clare Hammond-Chambers-Borgnis, daughter of Richard Peter Hammond-Chambers-Borgnis, on 24 April 1965.¹ He and Clare Hammond-Chambers-Borgnis were divorced in 1986.³ He died in July 2013 at age 73 at Serres, Tourdun, France.³

     Rosemary Margaret Tryon was born on 16 July 1930.¹ She was the daughter of Major Richard George Laurence Tryon and Lucinda Frame-Thomson.² She married W/Cdr. John Martin Baskerville Edwards, son of Geoffrey Richard Edwards, on 11 October 1952.¹ She died on 29 October 2012 at age 82.³
     From 11 October 1952, her married name became Edwards.
