     Sir James Matthew Stronge, 3rd Bt. was born on 25 November 1811.1 He was the son of Sir James Mathew Stronge, 2nd Bt. and Isabella Calvert.2 He married Selina Elizabeth Nugent, daughter of Lt.-Col. Andrew Nugent and Hon. Selina Vesey, on 17 June 1836.1 He died on 11 March 1885 at age 73, without issue.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 5th Dragoon Guards.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Armagh in 1844.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tyrone in 1845.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Armagh in 1864.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Stronge, of Tynan Abbey, co. Armagh [U.K., 1803] on 2 December 1864.1

     Sir John Calvert Stronge, 4th Bt. was born on 21 February 1813.1 He was the son of Sir James Mathew Stronge, 2nd Bt. and Isabella Calvert.2 He married Lady Margaret Zoe Caulfeild, daughter of Hon. Henry Caulfeild and Elizabeth Margaret Browne, on 14 September 1848.1 He died on 20 December 1899 at age 86.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Stronge, of Tynan Abbey, co. Armagh [U.K., 1803] on 11 March 1885.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Armagh.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tyrone.1

     He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Canada [S., 1633] in 1690.1 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Stirling [S., 1633] in 1690.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Stirling [S., 1630] in 1690.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Alexander, of Menstre, in Logie, co. Clackmannan [N.S., 1625] in 1690.1 He succeeded as the 5th Lord Alexander of Tullibody [S., 1630] in 1690.1 He succeeded as the 5th Lord Alexander of Tullibody [S., 1633] in 1690.1 On his death his titles became extinct however it was claimed by William Alexander, commander-in-chief of the American forces.1
