Brigadier-General John Cecil Macrae was the son of John Macrae.2 He married Adela Mordaunt, daughter of Sir Charles Mordaunt, 10th Bt. and Mary Louisa Cholmondeley, on 8 June 1916.1 He died on 20 August 1940.2
He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the 1st/14th Punjab Regiment.1 He lived at Orkney Islands, Scotland.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1

Sir Osbert L'Estrange Mordaunt, 11th Bt. was born on 27 January 1884.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Mordaunt, 10th Bt. and Mary Louisa Cholmondeley.2 He died on 23 February 1934 at age 50, when he was succeeded by his first cousin, unmarried.1
