     Captain Edward Sealy Vidal married Beatrice Christine Hare, daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Hare and Mary Christina Windham, on 5 December 1871.¹ He died on 13 March 1878.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 57th Regiment.¹

     Alice Caroline Hare was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Richard Hare and Mary Christina Windham.² She married John Windham, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles Ashe Windham, on 15 August 1899.¹ She died on 15 November 1923.¹
     From 15 August 1899, her married name became Windham.
