Arthur Frederick Dobbs was born on 31 March 1876.1 He was the son of Archibald Edward Dobbs and Edith Mary Chance.2,1 He married Hylda Louise Higginson, daughter of Captain Conway Richard Dobbs Higginson and Hon. Agnes Isabella Handcock, on 21 July 1915.1 He died on 16 February 1955 at age 78.1
