     Alice Emily Kennedy was born on 7 June 1870.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Sir William Robert Kennedy and Edith Louisa Stopford.¹ She married George Waller Stopford, son of James Sydney Stopford and Katherine Mary Waller, on 7 December 1911.¹ She died on 21 March 1939 at age 68.¹
     Her married name became Stopford.

     George Waller Stopford was born on 26 May 1870.² He was the son of James Sydney Stopford and Katherine Mary Waller.^1,2 He married Alice Emily Kennedy, daughter of Admiral Sir William Robert Kennedy and Edith Louisa Stopford, on 7 December 1911.¹ He died on 14 March 1959 at age 88, without issue.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment.² He fought in the First World War.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He held the office of Mayor of Daventry between 1928 and 1929.²

     James Sydney Stopford was born on 14 April 1808.² He was the son of Reverend Hon. Richard Bruce Stopford and Hon. Eleanor Powys.² He married, firstly, Frances Loyd, daughter of Edward Loyd, on 16 September 1847.² He married, secondly, Katherine Mary Waller, daughter of Sir Thomas Wathen Waller, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Wise, on 10 March 1868.² He died on 8 July 1885 at age 77.²

     Captain Edward Coverley Kennedy was born on 31 August 1879.¹ He was the son of Edward Briggs Kennedy and Caroline Edith Jackson.¹ He married Rosalind Margaret Innes Grant, daughter of Sir Ludovic James Grant of Dalvey, 11th Bt. and Elizabeth Ethel Graham Lancaster, on 21 September 1918.¹ He died on 23 November 1939 at age 60, he went down with his ship, H.M.S. Rawalpindi.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹
