Robert Campbell of Succoth married Janet Glen, daughter of Duncan Glen and Janet Glen, before 1606.1 He died in 1640, having had, with a yr s (James, m Christian, dau of Robert Paterson):.1
He was variously called servitor and familius (i.e., kin) to 7th Earl of Glencairn, also ‘Robert Campbell, Yr.’.1 He was a maltster.1 He was Burgess of Dumbarton in 1610.1 He was Chancellor of Dumbarton in 1614.1 In 1616 he bought Succoth from the Bonteins.1 He was Common Procurator of Dumbarton in 1617.1 He held the office of Baillie of Dumbarton between 1621 and 1626.1 He lived at Succoth, Dunbartonshire, ScotlandG.1

William Campbell of Succoth was the son of Robert Campbell of Succoth and Janet Glen.2 He married Lillias Houstoun.1 He died in 1658, leaving, with other issue, including another s (James, m 1676 Marion, dau of Patrick Williamson of Chapelton, and had a s, James, d 1681) and a dau (Marion, m John Ewing, gunner Dumbarton Castle, and had issue):.1
He was Burgess of Dumbarton in 1637.1 He was Sheriff Clerk of Dumbarton in 1641.1 He was Provost of Dumbarton in 1652.1
