     Christian Crichton was the daughter of Sir Robert Crichton of Sanquhar and Elizabeth Erskine.1 She married, firstly, Sir Robert Colville, son of Robert Colville.2 She married, secondly, Alexander Erskine, 3rd Lord Erskine, son of Thomas Erskine, 2nd Lord Erskine and Janet Douglas, before 9 October 1466.3 She died from November 1477 to March 1477/78.1
     Her married name became Colville.2 From before 9 October 1466, her married name became Erskine.1

     Sir Robert Colville was born in 1488.2 He is the son of Robert Colville.2 He married Christian Crichton, daughter of Sir Robert Crichton of Sanquhar and Elizabeth Erskine.1 He died in 1508.2
     He lived at Oxnam, Roxburghshire, ScotlandG.1

     Janet Douglas married Thomas Erskine, 2nd Lord Erskine, son of Sir Robert Erskine of that Ilk, 1st Lord Erskine and Lady Elizabeth Lindsay, before 1445.1 She died after August 1489.1
     From before 1445, her married name became Erskine.1

     Helen Hepburn was the daughter of Sir Adam Hepburn of Hailes and Janet Borthwick.1 She married John Somerville, 2nd Lord Somerville, son of William Somerville, 1st Lord Somerville and Janet Mowat, on 10 July 1446 at Hailes Castle, ScotlandG.2 She died in 1454.
     From 10 July 1446, her married name became Somerville.1

     He was founder and first Colonel of the Royal Scots Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Marshal of France.1 He fought in the Siege of Saverne.2

     William Somerville, 1st Lord Somerville was born before 1400.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas de Somerville and Janet Stewart.1 He married Janet Mowat, daughter of Sir John Mowat, in 1428/29 in a secret marriage, against his parent's wishes. He died on 20 August 1456 at Cowthally Castle, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG, from a surfeit of fruit.1
     He gained the title of 1st Lord Somerville [Scotland] between 28 June 1445 and 3 July 1445.2
