Caroline Neville was born in 1790.2 She was the daughter of Richard Griffin, 2nd Lord Braybrooke, Baron of Braybrooke and Catherine Grenville.2 She married Paul Beilby Lawley-Thompson, 1st Baron Wenlock, son of Sir Robert Lawley, 5th Bt. and Jane Thompson, on 10 May 1817.1 She died on 2 May 1868.1
From 10 May 1817, her married name became Lawley. From 27 September 1820, her married name became Thompson.1 After her marriage, Hon. Caroline Neville was styled as Baroness Wenlock on 13 May 1839. From 1 June 1839, her married name became Lawley-Thompson.

Paul Beilby Lawley-Thompson, 1st Baron Wenlock was the son of Sir Robert Lawley, 5th Bt. and Jane Thompson.1 He married Hon. Caroline Neville, daughter of Richard Griffin, 2nd Lord Braybrooke, Baron of Braybrooke and Catherine Grenville, on 10 May 1817.1 He died on 9 May 1852.1
He was given the name of Paul Beilby Lawley at birth.1 On 27 September 1820 his name was legally changed to Paul Beilby Thompson by Royal Licence.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Lawley, of Spoonhill, Shropshire [E., 1641] on 30 January 1831.1 He was created 1st Baron Wenlock, of Wenlock, co. Shropshire [U.K.] on 13 May 1839.1 On 1 June 1839 his name was legally changed to Paul Beilby Lawley-Thompson by Royal Licence.1
