     He gained the title of Prince de Lamballe.¹

     Marie Thérèse Louise di Savoia-Carignano, Principessa di Savoia-Carignano was born on 8 September 1749 at Turin, Italy^G.¹ She was the daughter of Luigi Vittorio di Savoia-Carignano, Principe di Carignano.¹ She married Louis Alexandre Joseph de Bourbon, Prince de Lamballe, son of Louis Jean Marie de Bourbon, Duc de Penthièvre and Maria Teresa Felicita d'Este, on 31 January 1767 at Nangis^G.¹ She died on 3 September 1792 at age 42 at Paris, France^G, murdered by the mob.¹
     She held the office of Superintendant of the Household, to Queen Marie Antoinette of France.¹
