Lt.-Col. Rodney Charles Style was born on 4 May 1863.1 He was the son of Sir William Henry Marsham Style, 9th Bt. and Hon. Rosamond Marion Morgan.2 He married Helène Pauline Kleinwort, daughter of Herman Greverus Kleinwort and Marguerite Marie Jeanne Gunther, on 19 October 1911.2 He died on 30 October 1957 at age 94.1
He fought in the Nile Expedition between 1885 and 1886.1 He fought in the North-West Frontier, India between 1897 and 1898.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment.1
