     Archibald Douglas, 5th of Whittinghame was the son of William Douglas, 4th of Whittinghame and Margaret Maitland.¹ He died in 1628.¹

     Matilda Morris was the daughter of Sir John Morris, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Musgrave.² She married Edward Jesse on 13 November 1807.¹ She died on 5 July 1850.¹
     From 13 November 1807, her married name became Jesse.

     Edward Jesse was born on 14 January 1780 at Hutton, Cranswick, Yorkshire, England.² He married Matilda Morris, daughter of Sir John Morris, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Musgrave, on 13 November 1807.¹ He died on 28 March 1868 at age 88 at Brighton, Sussex, England.²
     He lived at West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England.¹

     Caroline Morris was the daughter of Sir John Morris, 1st Bt. and Henrietta Musgrave.² She married Reverend George Lillie Wodehouse Fauquier on 6 September 1824.¹ She died on 26 January 1883.¹
     From 6 September 1824, her married name became Fauquier.
