Charles Cashel Gavan Duffy was born on 27 August 1855.1 He was the son of Hon. Sir Charles Gavan Duffy and Susan Hughes.2 He married Ella M'Lean, daughter of Hon. Allan M'Lean.1 He died on 23 February 1932 at age 76.1
