Sir Alexander Crichton was born on 2 December 1763.1 He was the son of Alexander Crichton and Barbara Boyes.2 He married Frances Dodwell, daughter of Edward Dodwell and Frances Jennings, on 27 September 1800.1 He died on 4 June 1856 at age 92.1
