     Catherine Susan Torlesse was born on 24 February 1944.¹ She is the daughter of Rear-Admiral Arthur David Torlesse and Sheila Mary Susan Darroch.² She married David Martin Taylor, son of Hugh Brandon Taylor, on 18 May 1968.¹
     From 18 May 1968, her married name became Taylor. She lived in 2003 at 1 Sway Lodge, Sway, Lymington, Hampshire, England^G.¹
