Henry Becher was born on 24 June 1861 at Skibbereen, County Cork, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Michael Becher and Mary Stewart.1 He married Emily Mary Lydia Neil on 1 June 1906 at St. Mary, Hornsey, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 20 September 1929 at age 68.1 He was also reported to have died on 7 January 1934 at Maldon, Essex, EnglandG.2
He was educated between January 1875 and July 1876 at Royal School of Armagh, College Hill, County Armagh, IrelandG.2 He graduated in 1879 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was registered as a Associate Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (A.M.I.C.E.) on 3 December 1889.2 He was employed by the London City Council.2 He lived at The Precincts, Rosscarberry, County Cork, IrelandG.2
