Anton Günther II Prinz von Schwarzburg-Sondershausen was born on 10 October 1653. He was the son of Anton Günther I Graf von Schwarzburg-Sondershausen and Marie Magdalen von Birkenfeld.1 He married Auguste Dorothea von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, daughter of Anton Ulric Herzog von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel and Elisabeth Juliana von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg in Norburg, on 6 August 1684. He died on 20 December 1716 at age 63.
