     Sir Daniel Keyte Sandford was born on 3 February 1798 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Daniel Sandford and Helen Frances Catherine Douglas.2 He married Cecilia Catherine Charnock, daughter of John Charnock, on 2 July 1823.1 He died on 4 February 1838 at age 40.1
     He was an author and classical scholar of Greek between 1821 and 1838 at University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG.2,1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Paisley between 1834 and 1835.1
