Louisa Bagot.² He married Lady Wilmot Ida Noreen Hastings, daughter of Francis Power Plantagenet Hastings, 14th Earl of Huntingdon and Mary Anne Wilmot Westenra, on 9 June 1903.¹ He died in 1952, without issue.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bass [U.K., 1882] on 1 February 1909.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Hussars.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Alexandra Nada Victoria Mountbatten was born on 8 May 1998 at Bridwell Park, Devon, England^G.^1,2 She is the daughter of Lord Ivar Alexander Michael Mountbatten and Penelope Anne Vere Thompson.¹
     Alexandra Nada Victoria Mountbatten also went by the nick-name of Alix.²

     Lady Wilmot Ida Noreen Hastings was born on 5 August 1880.² She was the daughter of Francis Power Plantagenet Hastings, 14th Earl of Huntingdon and Mary Anne Wilmot Westenra.^1,2 She married Major Sir William Arthur Hamar Bass, 2nd Bt., son of Hamar Alfred Bass and Hon. Louisa Bagot, on 9 June 1903.¹ She died on 25 May 1949 at age 68, without issue.²
     From 9 June 1903, her married name became Bass.
