     Sir George Oxenden, 5th Bt. was born on 26 October 1694.3 He was the son of George Oxenden and Elizabeth Dixwell.3 He married Elizabeth Dunch, daughter of Edmund Dunch and Elizabeth Godfrey, in May 1720.1,3 He died on 20 February 1775 at age 80.3
     He held the office of Lord of the Admiralty.2 He gained the title of 5th Baronet Oxenden. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sandwich.2
