     Rowland Bateman was born in 1705.2 He was the son of John Bateman.2 He married Elizabeth Colthurst, daughter of Colonel Nicholas Colthurst and Penelope Topham.3 He died in 1754.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)3 He lived at Oak Park, County Kerry, IrelandG.4
