     Esther Lynette Sutherland Mackay was the daughter of Major James Reay Sutherland Mackay.1 She married, firstly, Captain Michael Hamish Alistair Stuart-Hamilton, son of Henry Rudston Stuart-Hamilton and Mabel Mary Ellerbeck, on 14 February 1944.2 She married, secondly, Major Ronald David Stewart-Brown, son of Ronald Stewart-Brown and Olga Sophia von Heyder, on 19 February 1946.1 She married, thirdly, Mervyn Gurney Talbot Rice, son of Rev. Hon. William Talbot Rice and Marian Gurney, on 15 September 1969.1 She died in 1990.2
     Esther Lynette Sutherland Mackay usually went by her middle name of Lynette.1 She was with the Voluntary Aid Detachment.2 From 14 February 1944, her married name became Stuart-Hamilton.1 From 19 February 1946, her married name became Stewart-Brown.2 From 15 September 1969, her married name became Talbot Rice.1

     Sir Francis Douglas Blake, 1st Bt. was born on 27 February 1856.1 He was the son of Francis Blake and Mary Douglas.1 He married Selina Colquhoun Burns, daughter of James Cleland Burns, on 14 December 1886.1 He died on 5 February 1940 at age 83.1
     He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Northumberland Royal Guards Artillery (Militia.)1 He was created 1st Baronet Blake, of Tillmouth Park, Cornhill-on-Tweed, co. Northumberland [U.K.] on 22 July 1907.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Coalition Liberal) for Berwick between 1916 and 1922.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Tynemouth Heavy Brigade, Royal Artillery (Territorial Army.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Northumberland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northumberland.1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Northumberland in 1920.1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Northumberland in 1931.1
